Manchester United have reportedly made an approach for Lionel Messi.
The Barcelona talisman is under contract until 2018, but his frustrations with the Spanish media circus surrounding an investigation into his tax affairs has left him uncertain of his future at the Nou Camp.
A deal would be unlikely to go through this summer, but if Jose Mourinho secures them Champions League football next season, the chances of the Red Devils securing his signature would increase.
Messi won’t come cheap however and a club world-record transfer fee surpassing Gareth Bale’s £85.3million move to Real Madrid in 2013 would be needed to secure a move.
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Croatian forward Antonio Colak, according to reports.
The young striker spent last season on loan at Kaiserslautern from Hoffenheim, scoring five goals in 22 league appearances.
It is not known if Hoffenheim are willing to sell the 22-year-old, but according to website Soccerisma, Arsenal and Colak have held talks and an agreement has been reached.
Liverpool have reportedly offered Leicester’s Jamie Vardy a £140,000-a-week contract to move to Anfield.
The Reds face competition from the Gunners for his signature however with Arsene Wenger’s side triggering his £20million release clause yesterday.
Liverpool are falling behind in the race though, with The Mirror claiming Liverpool don’t have the option to trigger his release clause as they aren’t in the Champions League next season.
